Sandpiper

Heading for disaster,
Breeding mothers fear.
Doubting everyone of us,
The piper drawing near.
Up and down the alleyways,
Muting infants cries.
The sandy man a coming,
With a twinkle in his eyes.
So throw down your futile minds,
Its all a big disguise.
As Mr Sandy Piper man,
Reaches for the sky's.

Raving about the apocalypse,
How other worlds collide.
Preaching tales of yet unborn,
Cause comfort to subside.
Could this be the man of old,
Who's water into wine.
Poisoned our society,
With prayers that made us blind.
If religion is eternal peace,
Then war is a final treaty.
Condemned me, in the highest rank,
I press the Lord to beat me.

Moving clouds shriek into thunder as the sandpiper slips into the
DARKNESS
