Sceptics may call this 'grunge-lite', but that would do scant justice to the
fractured emotions of Christian Ashcroft's nasally roar. Casting their
diligent punk-ethic into soaring anthemics, opener 'My Chinese Burns', is
typical stuff: all cathartic vocals, seething guitars and a flurry of brash
energy.
